Chicago Mahogany Tours x Bronzeville Winery presents: Magic of Metropolis Tour - Halloween Edition

Chicago Historian Dilla and Bronzeville Winery have joined forces to offer a Sunday afternoon tour experience unlike any other!

This 2-hour tour will begin with wine, spirits, and other beverage selections from Bronzeville Winery before being escorted onto Dilla's plush charter bus for a unique historic Bronzeville tour. 

Join us Sunday, October 29 from 2-4:30 p.m. dressed as your favorite Chicago Historical Figure!    Best costume wins a 1-year membership to Bronzeville Winery's Wine Club, a Sommelier-chosen Wine Package AND a $250 gift certificate to Bronzeville Winery!

Costumes will be judged by Dilla and Mario Smith for accuracy, creativity and most importantly, FUN!

Tourgoers can expect a ride tailored for the perfect Sunday Funday with family or friends exploring the streets of Bronzeville, a community whose name represents resistance and the efforts of a community to define itself on its own terms after the great migration.  From beaches to famous bungalows, this excursion will provide a visual storytelling experience about the rich history of Bronzeville, aka the Black Metropolis.  Dilla takes guests on a deep dive into stories about everything from Bronzeville's incredible historic residents such as musicians Louis Armstrong, Nat “King” Cole, Quincy Jones and Mahalia Jackson, sports legends such as Jesse Owens and Joe Louis as well as those places and spaces that are invoking Bronzeville's longstanding reign as a cultural powerhouse. The tour will end with a celebratory closing cocktail (or wine) at  Bronzeville Winery and offers the opportunity to stay for dinner and live jazz at 6pm with the purchase of ticket.
