About the event

Hey Wine Lovers!

Join us Tuesday, May 23 from 6pm-9pm for an enticing conversation with George Daniels as we discuss the history and future of Bronzeville, drink beautiful tastings of wine and enjoy delicious small bites.

Moderated by Mary Datcher, a woman of many talents - journalist, marketing and brand specialist in the areas of field, conceptual and entertainment marketing.

George Daniels is the founder and proprietor of George’s Music Room, arguably the most influential independent music retailer in the country. Not only is he seen as more than a wildly successful merchant, he is a philanthropist, visionary, father-figure but also a confidant to artists like Sean Combs and Snoop Dogg who affectionately refer to him as “Uncle George”. Daniels takes pride in his contributions as a merchant to the community and the first African American recipient of the Recording Merchandisers “Retailer of the Year” award and continues to infiltrate the industry using one simple word, Family.
